A Self-Care Tip for Overwhelm

That knotted feeling in the belly…
tension around the shoulders…
tightness in the chest…
stiffness…
rigid jaw…
tiredness…
insomnia at night…
etc. 

If you´re struggling with symptoms from scrolling countless timelines, consuming masses of information (much of it painful) and emotional exhaustion, try to take some time out to pause and make space for yourself.

You´ll need a chair and some kind of towel/blanket/eyepillow. 
Lay on the floor with a chair in front of you. Rest your feet and low legs on the seat of the chair, then place then cover your eyes with the pillow/blanket/towel. 

Stay there for 5 minutes - 10 or more if you can!

If you are mid-work, set an alarm so that you can let yourself switch off for some relaxation without needing to be semi-alert and checking the time.
