WE´RE RETURNING TO BERGEN! It´s been so long! We´re very pleased indeed!

Thank you to everyone who has been in touch with us sharing tips and recommendations and requests to come back.

We delved deep to come up with an offering that takes you on a journey of different styles and tastes in movement, meditation and "mat", and really hope that it´s useful and inspiring! 

We hope this package offers you a chance to reconnect, refresh, restore and replenish yourself in beautiful spaces, amongst some lovely people.

We are particularly focussing on welcoming Spring and releasing the stagnant energy of winter to make space for new energy, be that physically, mentally, emotionally etc. If you´re feeling like you could do with a fresh dose of inspiration and a kick start to the warmer season, this is for you! 

This time we will have four (yes, four!) events, starting the weekend off with a Social to RECONNECT at the Litteraturhus! It will be an intimate fireside chat and social which will be recorded for a podcast – so if you can´t make it to Bergen, we´ll have you there in spirit.

The Social will be followed by three yoga and movement workshops which will be held at the beautiful Griegakademiet in the centre of the city, each workshop with a different style, theme and focus, aiming to REFRESHRESTORE and REPLENISH you for the weeks to come! As usual there will be plenty of projecty stuff, so expect opportunities to use props in "conventional" and "unconventional" ways.

Following the yoga and movement workshops, we are also coming with all the food! Well, certainly some of the food. A bountiful supply of ingredients, because after each workshop, Ketil and I will share a tutorial on some of our fave healthy nibbles and nutritious bites as post-class treats that avoid sugar, gluten and dairy.

All ingredients are included and we will talk you through and demo each of them, discussing options of ingredients and why we choose them. You´re invited to participate in the making but you don´t have to (you can just spis!) and you´ll also receive a personalised recipe card gift to take home.

RECONNECT: Fireside Chat and Social

It´s the start of the weekend, so what better than to gather together and decompress by the fire with a glass, surrounded by books and good people? Join us for an evening of conversation, exchange, and intimate kos where we hope to connect and inspire on the topic of "wellness".
Dionne and Ketil will be in conversation, exploring "What does wellness mean for each of us?

We will be covering a range of related subjects including:

We will share our philosophy and approach to "wellness" and we´ll take a couple of practical exercises along the way. You´ll also receive a handout of our booklist to take home.
We want to cultivate and celebrate community, and how we can share and learn and grow together so you´re invited to participate to the conversation if you fancy (but not forced if you want to just come and hang!), and there will be a q&a at the end of the discussion.

The vibe is an informal and friendly one, a gathering where wine and soft drinks (and knowing Dionne, tea!) will be available to purchase and brought into the event from Colonialen next door.

It´s spring and the perfect opportunity to dust out cobwebs and find a new freedom or approach to our practice! Join us for an energising and dynamic flow workshop - with plenty of room for good vibes and chill. 

You´ll start with where you are, with what you have, and really establish that ground and centre. We´ll explore breath awareness, building a slow and steady flow, and conscientiously create clarity, space and focus to "spring forwards". 

We´ll break down some shapes and tackle how to make them less intimidating and go a little deeper in how we can build strength and flow without rushing, forcing or pushing. You´ll be encouraged to go at your own pace and adjust seasoning accordingly. Class will also include meditation practice integrating our movement and stillness along with the fresh new perspective we´ve acquired on this journey!

Deeply gentle, relaxing and restorative, this class will take the rhythm of our Yoga + Self Care Workshops.

We´ll use props to support us and find our chill and to come back to ourselves. This tends to be a deeper and more intuitive self study, combining movement and stillness. Dionne will be guiding the session but exploration and deep listening (to yourself) is encouraged.

A safe, intimate, nourishing and rejuvenating environment for your body and mind. Journey through a grounded, quiet, calm and restorative self care practice.

Feast on tools and techniques that encourage you to slow down and delve a little deeper into yourself.

Time out to get to know yourself again, thoughts, body, guts, home. Reacquaint, explore how to come back to yourself and discover ways to maintain self care when we return to the outside world.

A sumptuous and sensual journey discovering the best methods to nurture and support yourself. Addressing how to integrate self care into daily life. More space, stress less, refuel and replenish.

Sunday 24 April

We will incorporate some of the work from the previous two workshops but with a focus on unwinding and rinsing the body with a journey through twists and folds.

Class will be a mix of restorative and flow and followed by a warm cacao tutorial. 

A slow but deeply nourishing focus using our connection to core to creating space, hopefully enabling you to feel replenished, balanced and centred.

We will explore ways to unravel the spine and lengthen the side body, gently opening areas that might not get a lot of attention, and working patiently, with respect, curiosity and pleasure!
